Laurence I. Gendelman, Esq.

Partner

Laurence I Gendelman, Esq., is a founding partner, attorney, child and family investigator (CFI), child’s legal representative (CLR), and parenting coordinator/decision-maker (PC/DM) at Gendelman Klimas Edwards, Ltd. He received his Bachelor of Arts in both Economics and Political Science as well as his Juris Doctor at the University of Colorado – Boulder.

Nick Klimas, Esq.

Partner

Nick manages the probate and estate planning side of Gendelan Klimas Edwards, Ltd. He specializes in complex and multi generational trust/estate planning and enjoys working with business owners and real estate investors. From handling contested or disputed trust or probate litigation cases to assisting clients as they navigate the Colorado Probate Code or trust administration, Nick and his team are prepare to handle any issue presented them.

Sarah is a Paralegal at Gendelman Klimas. She holds a Master’s in Liberal Arts and Bachelor of Arts in International Studies and is finishing her Certificate for Paralegal Studies from the Community College of Aurora. Her prior work experience has been in sales at a ground transportation firm.

William Erwin, Esq.

Will is originally from central Kentucky and attended Miami University in southwest Ohio where he graduated with a computer science degree. Will attended Salmon P. Chase College of Law before moving to Colorado, where he’s lived since 2023. Will has worked with younger kids since high school, and most recently spent years coaching soccer and futsal for kids ranging from 8 to 18.

Kiersten Fakir

From her early beginnings at Gasper Law Group, transitioning from a criminal law legal assistant to a family law paralegal, to embarking on her current role at Gendelman Klimas Edwards (GKE) in 2022, Kiersten’s journey in the legal field has been anything but ordinary. After the delight of welcoming twins and completing her bachelor's degree during a maternity leave, there was no place Kiersten would rather have continued her career than at GKE. Kiersten finds that the supportive and respectful culture here uniquely aligns with her professional and personal values, providing a nurturing environment for growth.

At the heart of Sydney’s career lies a dedication to making a real difference, especially in the lives of children and families facing the upheaval of domestic violence disputes. Although she is not an attorney (yet), she is profoundly involved with Greyson's Choice, a nonprofit organization committed to supporting children and families caught in such challenging circumstances. This vital role allows Sydney to channel her personal experiences into meaningful advocacy, fostering support systems for those who need them most.
