Laurence I Gendelman, Esq., is a founding partner, attorney, child and family investigator (CFI), child’s legal representative (CLR), and parenting coordinator/decision-maker (PC/DM) at Gendelman Klimas Edwards, Ltd. He received his Bachelor of Arts in both Economics and Political Science as well as his Juris Doctor at the University of Colorado – Boulder.

Nick Klimas, Esq.
Partner
Nick manages the probate and estate planning side of Gendelan Klimas Edwards, Ltd. He specializes in complex and multi generational trust/estate planning and enjoys working with business owners and real estate investors. From handling contested or disputed trust or probate litigation cases to assisting clients as they navigate the Colorado Probate Code or trust administration, Nick and his team are prepare to handle any issue presented them.

Courtney Edwards, Esq.

The complexity of the legal system can often overwhelm clients. What Courtney loves most about her role as an attorney is breaking down these complexities into manageable steps, thereby reducing anxiety and helping clients focus on their end goals. Courtney’s litigation style emphasizes civility and conflict de-escalation, ensuring a constructive approach while still advocating robustly for her client’s interests. Children, when involved, remain a priority, guiding the proceedings with their well-being in mind.

Kaitlyn chose to become an attorney because she thrives on intellectual challenges and enjoys the opportunity to work directly with clients, helping achieve meaningful outcomes during their most stressful times.

Ron Carlson, Esq.
Of Counsel
Mr. Carlson focuses his practice on business and real estate including related specialties of corporations, partnerships, limited liability companies, limited liability family partnerships, real estate development, mechanics liens, and construction-defect litigation. He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in trust busting and high asset divorce cases.

After his service in the Air Force, Chad embarked on a legal career with a mission: to assist everyday people in navigating the complex legal landscape. His journey as an attorney is fueled by a strong desire to transform the daunting world of law into a manageable path for his clients.

Sarah is a family law attorney and child and family investigator at Gendelman Klimas Edwards, Ltd. She has diverse experiences in divorce and custody cases and uses her litigation experience in her practice as a CFI.

Paige Palladino, Esq.
Paige is a an associate attorney with experience in family law and divorce proceedings. She practices out of our Frisco office and takes cases in Summit county and the surrounding areas.

Sarah Walker, M.A., C.p.
Sarah is a Paralegal at Gendelman Klimas. She holds a Master’s in Liberal Arts and Bachelor of Arts in International Studies and is finishing her Certificate for Paralegal Studies from the Community College of Aurora. Her prior work experience has been in sales at a ground transportation firm.

Christine Boetcher
Christine (Chris), assists the firm in ensuring every potential clients needs are addressed at a consultation if one is set and coordinates the engagement agreements for hundreds of clients per year.

William Erwin, Esq.
Will is originally from central Kentucky and attended Miami University in southwest Ohio where he graduated with a computer science degree. Will attended Salmon P. Chase College of Law before moving to Colorado, where he’s lived since 2023. Will has worked with younger kids since high school, and most recently spent years coaching soccer and futsal for kids ranging from 8 to 18.

Tara Johnson is our most experienced paralegal at Gendelman Klimas Edwards, Ltd. She has assisted many attorneys in the Frisco and Summit County areas as well as in the state of California. She assists the Frisco office attorneys in the criminal defense, domestic relations and trust and estate matters.

Owen Ziegler
Owen is the Practice Manager at Gendelman Klimas Edwards, Ltd. He is responsible for overseeing all of our client services as well as billing and collections.

Kiersten Fakir
From her early beginnings at Gasper Law Group, transitioning from a criminal law legal assistant to a family law paralegal, to embarking on her current role at Gendelman Klimas Edwards (GKE) in 2022, Kiersten’s journey in the legal field has been anything but ordinary. After the delight of welcoming twins and completing her bachelor's degree during a maternity leave, there was no place Kiersten would rather have continued her career than at GKE. Kiersten finds that the supportive and respectful culture here uniquely aligns with her professional and personal values, providing a nurturing environment for growth.

SYDNEY MCLANE
At the heart of Sydney’s career lies a dedication to making a real difference, especially in the lives of children and families facing the upheaval of domestic violence disputes. Although she is not an attorney (yet), she is profoundly involved with Greyson's Choice, a nonprofit organization committed to supporting children and families caught in such challenging circumstances. This vital role allows Sydney to channel her personal experiences into meaningful advocacy, fostering support systems for those who need them most.
