LLP and Senior Paralegal

About Tara

Tara is a Licensed Legal Paraprofessional (LLP) and the Senior Paralegal at Gendelman Klimas Edwards, Ltd., where she supports the attorneys in their practice of family law, probate, estate planning, civil litigation and criminal defense. Tara’s professional legal career began in 2006. She earned her certification as a Legal Secretary from the Beverly Hills Bar Association, followed by her Paralegal Certificate from California State University. Upon relocating to Colorado in 2012, and prior to joining Gendelman Klimas, Ltd., Tara was the office manager and senior paralegal for Carlson Edwards, Attorneys at Law.

She was part of the inaugural class of professionals who passed the April 2024 LLP exam and was admitted before the Supreme Court of Colorado in June of 2024. This licensure allows her to provide limited legal services in certain types of domestic relations cases in Colorado while promoting access to justice.

Outside of the office, Tara enjoys hiking, camping, softball, pilates and cooking. She currently serves as a PER Trustee for Summit County Elks Lodge 2561 and is a Program Monitor for Japan International Broadcasting. Born & raised in Massachusetts, she, of course, loves the Patriots, seafood and spending summers in Cape Cod. After 10 years in Los Angeles, she now calls Summit County home, and loves living in and serving the small, rural community.
