Come with a list.  Take some time before your meeting with a list of all your assets.  You will spend a lot less time brainstorming and instead you’ll receive detailed feedback. Some firms may have an intake form- take time to complete the form carefully.

Have you and your families basic contact information handy.  A big family can be hard to keep track of so keep full names, birthdays, socials, addresses and phone numbers handy to avoid delays.

Bring any legal and financial papers.  If you don’t know where to start, just ask or do a quick search online to help you prepare.  Having everything with you will help get the most out of your time with your lawyer.
